Grace Zahn
URE is thrilled to announce the winner for the 2023 Washington, D.C., Youth Tour. Applicants submitted their academic resume, references, and an essay on why they would like to attend YT 2023.
Grace is the daughter of Jennifer and Adam Zahn and a sophomore at Fairbanks High School. Grace shared she wanted to learn more about the historical and cultural upbringing of the nation and gain an understanding and appreciation our country and heritage. Her personal recommendations exemplifi ed her commitment to her community in addition to outstanding life skills highlighting the fact, she works well with her peers and serves her community.
Grace will travel to Washington, D.C., for an all-expenses paid trip this summer. The week-long trip will allow students to learn about leadership and the cooperative model and also to explore the nation’s capital. More than 1,500 students from across America take part in the Youth Tour experience each year.
