Union Rural Electric Cooperative (URE) is pleased to introduce our newest team member, Kim Vargo, who joined the team in November. Kim brings with her a wealth of cooperative experience, as she previously worked at North Central Electric Cooperative as their communications specialist. We are excited to welcome Kim to our team.
Kim grew up in Shelby, Ohio, and currently resides in Marion, with her husband, Brad, and 1-year-old daughter, Bristol.
Kim holds a bachelor of science degree in agricultural communications from The Ohio State University. Kim’s most recent professional experience was at Kalmbach Feeds, Inc., where she worked with the swine management team as a customer service representative. Her expertise and experience will undoubtedly be an asset to our team.
In her free time, Kim is an avid camper and a passionate traveler, often sharing these adventures with her family.
With Kim’s strong academic background, professional experience, and her commitment to family and community, we believe that she will be a valuable addition to the cooperative. We look forward to the insights and enthusiasm she will bring to our projects and collaborative efforts.
