URE crews are working to backfeed the New California substation to restore power for our members. Thank you for your patience as crews work to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.

11:48 P.M. – We are currently experiencing an Ohio Edison transmission line outage at the New California Substation, impacting over 3,100 members.

Our members are impacted because URE’s distribution lines and substations receive electricity from Ohio Edison transmission lines.

Our crews are in contact with Ohio Edison and are working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
