    REBATE OFFERS 7/1/2025 through 6/30/2026
    up to $250
    per  
    • Water heaters must be an electric heater for original installation (in new construction) or that replaces an existing water heater.
    • The water heater must be a new electric storage tank unit that is greater than 90% efficient (greater than 0.90 EF).
    • The water heater shall comply with all applicable local and Ohio plumbing and electrical code requirements.
    • Maximum 2 rebates per residential member home.
    • A radio control load control switch (RCS) must be installed and remain for at least 5 years.
    • This rebate is available only to members with URE supplied electric service.
    • Installing a new electric water heater with a new RCS = $250.
    • Replacing an existing water heater with an existing RCS = $200.
    • On-demand water heaters are not applicable.
