- Transmission
- Distribution Services (including State Excise Tax)
Single phase service rate also applies to:

- Farms that also have singe-phase service

Transmission Service Adjustment – Whenever the wholesale transmission costs from Buckeye Power increase or decrease above or below an amount recoverable by the current applicable URE Transmission Service rate, the Cooperative may increase or decrease the Transmission Service rate by an amount sufficient to recover the change in its transmission costs from Buckeye Power. The current rate is: $0.02771 (updated 04/2026)
Natural Gas Rates
As of April 2026 the total current Rate 10 (residential) and Rate 20 (small general service/commercial) for natural gas is: $0.777770 per 100 cubic feet (Ccf). (updated 04/2026)
By virtue of URE’s nature as a member-owned utility, we are not required to participate in the competitive natural gas market. However, the information is useful if you are interested in keeping track of how URE natural gas rates compare to the rest of the marketplace.
