2:18pm – URE currently has 8 active outages across our service territory, affecting 30 members. With more storms moving into the area, additional outages are possible.
Our crews continue working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. Many of the outages from these storms have been caused by lightning and other weather-related impacts to our system.
We understand how frustrating it is to be without power, especially as continued storm activity can impact restoration efforts and create new outages. Our crews will continue working until power is restored to every member. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through existing outages and respond to new issues as they arise.
Please remember: If you come across a downed power line, stay far away and never drive over it. Always treat downed power lines as energized and dangerous.
