Available at locations on the Cooperative’s electric distribution system in accordance with the Cooperative’s Terms and Conditions, rules and regulations and the Member has executed a written contract for outdoor lighting service with the Cooperative.
A. Private Lighting
Private Lighting shall be classified as outdoor lighting requested by a private residential or business member.
Monthly Rate
Mercury Vapor lighting is no longer offered for installation or repair by the Cooperative due to environmental regulations. Mercury Vapor lights will be replaced with 40-Watt Evluma fixtures.

B. Street Lighting
Street Lighting shall be classified as outdoor lighting requested by a government authority such as the State, County, Township or Municipality for purposes of roadway and intersection lighting.
Street lighting service will be provided subject to the Member paying a nonrefundable contribution-in-aid of construction equal to the total installed cost of the fixtures, poles, conductor and other equipment furnished by the Cooperative to provide the requested street lighting service:

The outdoor lighting rate is subject to the following conditions of service:
- Bracket-mounted luminaires will be installed only on Cooperative owned poles or structures.
- The Cooperative will replace burned out lamps and will maintain the luminaires during regular working hours as soon as practicable following notification by the Customer of the necessity
Tax Provisions
The Customer shall pay in addition to all other amounts provided herein any sales, use, franchise, gross receipts, utility, excise, or other tax now or hereafter applicable to the service rendered hereunder or imposed on the Cooperative as a result of such service; provided, however, that no such tax shall be included in the monthly charge if the Customer has furnished to the Cooperative satisfactory evidence of the Cooperative’s exemption from liability for such tax.
Terms of Payment
The above rates are net. If the total amount as computed above is not paid in accordance with the monthly statement rendered, then the net bill will be increased by 5%.
