The Operation Round Up board extends its gratitude to Rich Meiring for his 6 years of dedicated service. Rich’s final meeting was in August, as he has reached the term limit.
During his tenure, Rich served as vice president for several years and, in March 2023, culminated his service by stepping into the role of president. Board Vice President Sally Ward shared her appreciation, stating, “Rich has been an incredibly dedicated, compassionate, and capable leader. His attention to detail, his concern for the responsible use of our funds, and his commitment and strong leadership skills have been greatly appreciated and admired. It has been a pleasure for all of us on the board to know and work with him. We are truly grateful for his years of service!”
Colleen Lyons will be succeeding Rich on the board. Several months ago, Colleen expressed to a board member her desire to join the Operation Round Up Board because she was inspired by its mission. Sally Ward adds, “Her desire to assist others and be an engaged community member will be a tremendous asset to our board. We look forward to having Colleen’s cheerful and caring attitude add depth and compassion to our team!”
