In July, URE proudly supported local 4-H and FFA youth at the Union County Fair, held July 26 to August 1. From livestock shows to project displays, the week was a showcase of hard work, dedication, and community spirit.

We are grateful for the opportunity to invest in our community and support the next generation of leaders. Congratulations to all the exhibitors who participated this year — your commitment and determination were truly inspiring. Watching your efforts come to life in the show ring and project barns was a reminder of the value of youth programs like 4-H and FFA.

On Saturday, August 1, URE Director of Communications Laura Hutchins, COO/VP Engineering and Honda Affairs Matt Zarnosky, and District 5 Trustee Jeff Reinhard attended the Junior Fair Livestock Auction and showed their support by bidding on and purchasing a total of eight projects. URE joined forces with other local businesses to make these purchases possible and ensure that local youth were recognized and rewarded for their efforts. In addition, URE provided add-on contributions to 34 youth who completed the online 4-H/FFA participation form prior to the sale, further supporting their hard work and dedication.

Thank you to all who make the Union County Fair such a success year after year. We’re proud to be part of a community that supports its youth and celebrates their achievements.
